Eugene C. White, Esq.

Eugene (“Gene”) C. White is the owner and founder of Treasure State Land and Water Law. Gene grew up in a ranching family in Ennis where he worked on his grandparents’ ranch learning the processes of stock watering and irrigation and developing a keen understanding of the challenges facing water rights claimants throughout the statewide adjudication project. After graduating from Florida State University College of Law in 2019, Gene began his legal career as a Water Master at the Montana Water Court where he spent six years and was promoted to Senior Water Master. In his time at the Water Court, he became very well versed with the functionality of the Water Court and the water rights adjudication process. In the summer of 2025, Gene left the Water Court to begin his own private law firm, Treasure State Land and Water law, PLLC, in his hometown of Ennis, where his practice focuses on water adjunction, land use and regulation, and real estate transactions. Gene is passionate about bringing quality legal representation to our community and statewide.
